Randstad Education is currently seeking dedicated and passionate Childcare Cooks to join our casual pool supporting early childhood centres across Adelaide and surrounding suburbs. About the Role In this role, you will be responsible for working independently to prepare up to three nutritious meals per day for large groups of children. Beyond daily food preparation, you may be required to contribute your expertise to menu planning and providing nutritional guidance in line with childcare regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (highly desirable).

  • Previous experience cooking in childcare, aged care, or hospital environments is highly regarded.

  • Valid Safe Food Handling Certificate.

  • Valid Australian work rights and a willingness to obtain a state-based Working with Children Card.

  • A current First Aid certificate is highly regarded by our clients.

  • A commitment to Child Safeguarding, an understanding of Mandatory Reporting responsibilities, and a willingness to undertake National Child Safety training.

  • Ability to provide contact details for two professional referees who have directly managed you.
